Kristine Allen does it again. Not only did she write a love story to end all love stories. She hired two amazing narrators, Kylie Stewart and Eric Rolon, to draw us in. WOW! Did that work. Eric is the perfect Styx. His voice is just gruff enough that you want to get closer. Kylie portrays Gwen perfectly. Both narrators make you want the story to continue. The emotions they convey are superb. The hawt AF scenes are even hotter with the dual narrative.

I will definitely be listening to more of Kristine’s book.

I have been a Kristine Allen fan for a while now. I have high expectations when it comes to anything that bares her name. Lock & Load surpassed those expectations. The story was fast paced, explosive and kept me on the edge of my seat. All of that before I got to listen to the audible. I'm new to reviewing for audibles. So I am trying to find the best way to express what I expect in an audiobook. I am sure that will all change the more I review.

Kylie Stewart and Eric Nolon nailed Raven and Lock. Stewart was able to express Raven's tough exterior and also the sweeter sides of her. It was an a believable performance on what is a complex character. I enjoyed her portrayal of Raven. Rolon has a voice that could melt butter. His voice is exactly what I imagined Lock's to be. Gruff and sexy. He was able to express a lot of the anguish that Lock was going through in the story. I truly enjoyed their narratives.

Allen wrote them the perfect story of loss and healing. The story flows beautifully and the character development is off the charts. The love scenes are hotter than an Texas summer. This was a great listen and Allen had me locked the moment I pushed play.

In all honesty I read the book days before I listened to the audible. I wasn't expecting to be able to listen to the book. But who am I to turn down the chance. I fully enjoyed the book and the audio. Sarah Puckett and Connor Brown did an exceptional job bringing the characters to life for me.
Sarah Puckett was able to portray both the tougher and sweeter vulnerable sides of Ariel. Bringing out different sides of a person can be difficult, yet Puckett was able to do so and keep it consistent.
Connor Brown's voice is very sexy and soothing but with enough force that he makes a believable Dillion. I enjoyed and giggled at him doing the female characters during Dillions chapters.

Both Puckett and Brown make Blank Canvas come alive. Blank Canvas shows how strong women can lean on others without losing their strength, that everyone at some point needs a strong place to lean. I highly recommend both the audible and the book. Liberty Parker has given us a story that touches on so many real life issue. The one thing I absolutely love about her writing is that her female characters are so strong yet vulnerable. She is able to bring forth strength without making the heroine into a shrew. Her men are protective, strong and understanding.

The Diva Ink series is one that should be read and listened to by everyone. But that's just my humble opinion.

I have never really done a audiobook review so please forgive me while I cut my teeth on this one. As with most audiobooks the big thing is the narrator. Angie Morency's voice is so nice and smooth. It lulled me into the story and kept me wanting to listen. Hearing Angie as Gracen's voice painted a very vivid picture.
The story is one of such great love, friendship, loss and a new chance. Two best friends, Gracen Lowell and Slade Owens, try navigating from friendship to lovers. Yet it's too late by the time they realize their true feelings. Thinking he would never have his chance with Gracen, Slade has agreed to a job far away from her in hopes that he will soon forget her and all the feelings he knows will never be able to get over. But life, as it often does, throws him a curveball. Gracen loves him back. Slade, though, is a man of his word. He slinks out of Gracen's life.
Gracen slowly starts rebuilding her life without Slade. She sadly finds out that not every man is honorable. Will the turmoil in Gracen's life bring Slade back? Will they find out how strong their love is when it is truly put to the test?
Loveday has built a story of finding ones strength, abuse, love and second chances that flows so smoothly with Morency's voice that you, as the listener, can close your eyes and see it all happen.
