What a great series. I’m so sad that the author died before finishing the last book. I loved the way the series bounced from raine to Cora and what a surprise Cora got in the last book!! I loved the whole journey and the character development. The narrators were okay but I feel like audible should have multiple narrators is people can’t change their voice easily cuz it was sometimes hard to follow cuz they voices all sounded alike. Just my two cents but otherwise fantastic.

Strange, redundant, awkward, redundant, slow, redundant...

This book is nothing of what I thought it would be. The story has nothing to do with shapeshifters or magic or anything other than this girl’s relationships.
It sounds like it was written by a middle schooler, which if it was, then good job.
The book is slow, redundant and super awkward. Like, what is going on here? I keep waiting for it to get better...??? Not sure why it has so many good reviews. But it has potential. I feel like it’s... almost good. It needs like 10 more rewrites...

I thought the first book was a little slow, but each book got better than the last and I thought it was fantastic! Don't listen to the haters. It's a fun story with a good ending.
