Historia
Korede is bitter. How could she not be? Her sister, Ayoola, is many things: the favorite child, the beautiful one, possibly sociopathic. And now Ayoola’s third boyfriend in a row is dead. Korede’s practicality is the sisters’ saving grace. She knows the best solutions for cleaning blood, the trunk of her car is big enough for a body, and she keeps Ayoola from posting pictures of her dinner to Instagram when she should be mourning her “missing” boyfriend. Not that she gets any credit. Korede has long been in love with a kind, handsome doctor at the hospital where she works.

ending was disappointing
Revisado: 01-12-22
good read didnt want to put it down, however the ending was abrupt and felt unfinished like when you realize at the end of an essay you have reached your word count so you wrap it up in 10 words or less,. it was like that.

intriguing story of an infamous family
Revisado: 08-28-21
A story of an oral family history that begins with intrigue and wealth, unprecedented feminism for the era. The familial story is passed through generations and distant relatives and the author takes you through how the embellishments attached to the history are discovered and the author pieces together a more factual timeline.

Historia
Data is fundamental to the modern world. From economic development, to healthcare, to education and public policy, we rely on numbers to allocate resources and make crucial decisions. But because so much data fails to take into account gender, treating men as the default and women as atypical, bias and discrimination are baked into our systems. And women pay tremendous costs for this bias in time, money, and often with their lives. Celebrated feminist advocate Caroline Criado Perez investigates the shocking root cause of gender inequality and research in Invisible Women.
