This love story is as sweet as a Hallmark Christmas movie. I had to listen to it to get my mind off the thriller I was reading. It was the perfect pick-me-up!
Eden and Caleb met when they were teenagers when Caleb's family visited the Gingerbread Inn, which is owned by Eden's parents. After the death if his mother and needing a break, Caleb returns and Eden is now running the inn. Since I was watching Hallmark Christmas in July, I figured reading and listening to Christmas romances was perfect to keep the theme going.

Great narrator

Leona and Fiona are identical twins. They looked so much alike, they even fooled their parents. They would often switch identities to get what they wanted. I was not a big fan of Fiona. I feel like she switched with Leona when she did bad things and Leona had to suffer. Leona loved her sister so much she would anything for her. I enjoyed how the book began while the twins were children and smoothly transitioned to lives as adults. I caught on to what was going on with their friend, Bonnie Sue, as she interacted with Leona throughout the book. I hate that she took her obsession with Leona as far as she did. The ending was not to bad even though a tragic event took place.

Pretty good action romance

It was a little slow. There were moments where I almost lost interest. It was as fast paced as I thought it would be but overall is was a pretty good story. The narrators did a great job.

Good story ..

This is the first book that I have read or listened to by Anna black. The introduction of the book immediately captured my attention. The book had a lot of good scenes throughout and was drama filled. The characters were very well developed and interesting. The only part of the book I did not care too much for was the narrator. There were times when she would try to change her voice; however, the changes were not consistent.

Excellent book!

Such a very inspiring and sometimes humorous story. Trevor Noah did an excellent job telling about his life. I could listen to him narrate any story.

Good read!!!

The Unkind Hours was a pretty good read. The story begins with a beautiful family. Tragedy strikes and things are no longer the way they were. Steve cannot get over his tragic loss. The grief consumes him and he is no longer himself. He meets a stranger who offers to help him not knowing that he is going down a very dangerous road.

There were some parts of the book that I really liked, however; Steve did work my nerves. He loved to take things into his own hands and often made them worse. I also feel there should have been more background information about the killer. The ending has me questioning whether there is going to be a part 2 to this book.

I really love how the book went into the point of view of three different women. There were times I was happy right along with the characters. Then there was other times I couldn't help but to be irritated with them. It was an awesome read and I hope the author writes more drama-filled crime novels.

This book started off a little slow to me. However, it picked up and really too me surprise. The storyline is one I've never imagined.

Great read

This was an awesome book. I became so emotionally invested in the storyline. There times when I was rooting for each character. However, there were times I couldn't stand that very same character. This was indeed an emotional rollercoaster.
