Memoirs and biographies are my favorite reads. I can say with certainty, this has to be one of the worst. This woman made some really poor choices in life that wreaked havoc on others. I was astounded at the way she justified having an affair with a married man whose wife was battling cancer. That is cold. Then she describes how that woman's daughter referred to her as her mother. So cold and selfish.
Reading this was like driving by a terrible accident. You don't want to see the carnage, but you've gotta get through. I would not recommend it. If you do decide to listen, adjust the speed to at least 1.5. That will help you get through it and be able to follow the ridiculous storyline without having your mind wander.
