Exceptional Storytelling

Agree with another reviewer, this book was FIRE🔥🚒 . I am a sucker for an interracial love story but most shy away from hard topics. This one did not and it was done in a way that enhanced the narrative. Troy and Mari’s voices pulled u in and kept u enthralled. The best surprise, the humor and vulnerability sprinkled throughout. Take a chance on this one. It does not disappoint.

This story hit all the right notes. Love, loss, anger, frustration, lust and family drama. Caution, there is a lot of swearing but well placed in the framework of Marine life. Performance was outstanding, kept me rooting for heroine and hero. Would have liked a little more backstory on family but did not distract from overall story.

Whether you read or listen, the Blood Gospel series (Sanguinists) will have you enthralled. It's characters compelling and its story timeless.
You will end the final chapter a little sad knowing there is no more. Ah, but what great storytelling along the way.
