Fantastic overview!

Really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Ibrahim does such a good job of bringing to the modern light history not discussed in society or school. If any of these historical figures are discussed, the running societal themes are seemingly intentionally misleading. So glad Ibrahim uses his abilities and position to put these figures in proper context. Great complement to Sword and Scimitar, too.

Some think that it could be the answer to greed and globalism. Others even argue that it’s the best way to obey Christ’s command to help the poor. Let’s give socialism a fresh chance, they say. A democratic socialism, this time, friendly to religion and ordered to the common good like the church says the economy should be.
