Negotiating for peace is not an option when the System is in control. It can only be purchased through blood and steel. No one is spared from the winds of war.

Good overall story…LOTS of filler
Revisado: 02-10-25
I almost gave it up because of how much cultivation filler it had. I usually like all that but it was boring and I often found myself drifting off and having to re-listen to sections Over and over and try to find where I left off.
I think this will be my last book, especially after the author wrote on Reddit that he didn't care about this feedback and “Could make more money starting a new book” came off like an arrogant arse, which is right if he writes another best seller. Good luck when you trash your long time readers

Great Depth of Characters
Revisado: 09-08-23
I love that a lot of the characters are neither good nor bad, and that plans are made and some fail. Not very predictable and also makes you worry about who is going to make it, and who isn’t. Sad story but heartfelt.

Historia
The city of Celum is not much like Liscor at all. While Erin is surrounded by familiar, human faces, she’s far from home and without her inn. At the same time, a certain ill-tempered Lyonette is squatting in Erin’s inn, and Goblins are on the move. The Goblin Lord’s threat reaches across the entire region, and the Redfang tribe has rallied against him with the Floodplains tribe, although their Chieftains do not agree on some crucial matters. This winter, there is only snow, Goblins, magic, and iambic pentameter.

Great World building and shifting styles
Revisado: 08-05-23
Grand Fantasy to Adventures to Horror elements to Mysteries. So many different threads that you know will connect somehow and can’t wait to see how.
Some slow parts for a chapter or two that requires patience…but they do set a good foundation for character development

Historia
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

Starts slow, gets much better, and develops into a wonderful world
Revisado: 07-18-23
If you can get past the whining in the beginning by the protagonist it gets good.
Colorful personalities, good decisions that turn out awful, morally grey characters, mysteries and wonderful interactions where you don't know who will live.
If you like Litrpg, isn't quite as good as He who fights with monsters and Dungeon Crawler Carl...BUT the worldbuilding is better and has the potential to surpass those series. Great opening story.

Loved it
Revisado: 12-15-16
I love the diversity and depth of the characters. The intro of Six was my favorite storyline, followed by the ex-Guild members. I love how it logically showed how people that are allies can be on opposite sides. Only criticism would be the ending seemed a bit rushed, and villain actions seemed lucky and stupid at the end.
