Historia
The mysticism and intrigue of the Bermuda Triangle has just turned personal for Admiral David Segarra: his former ship, the USS Wasp, has gone missing in the area without a trace. But this is only one of a few strange occurrences in the area: storms, disappearances, and other phenomena have convinced Admiral Segarra that the only way to learn the truth is to investigate it for himself. a great new find

the only thing that would make this better would be a full cast instead of just a narrator. the narrator does a great job, but still a full cast would have given it more personality.

Historia
John Perry did two things on his 75th birthday. First he visited his wife's grave. Then he joined the army. The good news is that humanity finally made it into interstellar space. The bad news is that planets fit to live on are scarce—and alien races willing to fight us for them are common. So: we fight. To defend Earth, and to stake our own claim to planetary real estate. Far from Earth, the war has been going on for decades: brutal, bloody, unyielding. Earth itself is a backwater.

cool idea
Revisado: 01-19-22
cool premise, not a bad story but way to short. I love all types of sci fi bit this one had me a little fooled. typically the award winning, highly praised science fiction books can be quite complicated, tackling huge ideas, world building and detailed science. this booked did not seemed to just scratch the surface. it Really didn't get me thinking too much but at the same time wasn't an all out military space opera. maybe that's why it was so highly recommended?
