Sigh was disappointed

I couldn't remember why I didn't finish this the first time I listened and now I remember. I don't like the female lead, she is hard to like and the male lead is nice but treated horribly. She complains about being judged yet she judges people herself. The witch is cruel to him, he didn't deserve what was done to him. I put this book down a year ago and stopped the series, I am going to try the next book. the first two books are pretty good.

Listening to Lawson book, I am bored, trying to get through this book hoping the next book will be better. I get wanting to do a next generation but going from reading about grown men to teenagers is annoying.

I am annoyed by all the characters, the female lead is getting on my nerves. Orion turned his back on Atlas to easily even though they had a strong relationship. I am having a hard time listening to this book. I keep putting it down, only picking it back up because I hate not finishing a book. The Alphas lives are torn apart and it wasn't enough. I am assuming things get better I hope, I am currently on chapter 19, so a long way to go.

Sigh I really wanted to love the book

Overall it is a nice read. I had a hard time with the female as the alpha. Spoiler.............................................. Especially with Rory, that part of the story just didn't flow well for me. Strong macho alpha just submits to her, with barely a fight. I found myself rolling my eyes periodically especially when she was interacting with the other alphas. Plus the group dynamics are sooo different, how the alphas interact is different. They were more just friends / roommates than a pack.
Otherwise it is a good book.

I am on chapter 14 and I am struggling to finish this book. The female lead is annoying. the men make no sense. I am going to try and finish this book, but doubt I will continue with the series. It is just to ridiculous, the female blames the guys for her pain and don't recognize thier pain. Her running away is over the top childish and just plain dumb. Sigh chasing after her is just pointless.

Not what I was expecting

I just could not finish this book, Bink acts like a spoiled brat and everyone caters to her. The more I listed the less I liked her character. She does things that make no sense. Leaving the house when she hears gun fire and running towards the gun fire, putting others at risk and everyone is like oh well no big deal. People are apologizing to her for trying to stop her seriously. Her character is supposed to be 30 but it comes across as her being 18. The best part of the book was the sex scenes, that part was erotic and well written. Just could not stand the main female Bink, found myself yelling at her in my head. Returned the book for a refund.

love Milly Taiden didn't like heroine in book

Good story concept, narration was awesome. Just didn't like the female character. she was whiney and unlikable. I felt bad for the male character, she wasn't independent, just very immature and did things that made no sense. Milly Taiden is one of my favorite authors, usually love her female leads, they make me laugh and usually can see lots of growth from beginning to end. This time I was annoyed with the female and questioned why the male lead would put up with her. I was kinda hoping she would get shot, so she could learn and grow up.

I listened to the first two books not liking the main character but enjoying the story line. I can't finish the third book, the main character does so much harm to the pack and its justified because she knows what is best. Even knowing the pack issues and trauma she continues to do what she knows is best. She is 21 and knows more than everyone around her? I am assuming the book will end with everything working out because her way was the right way and everyone is so happy. I love fantasy and paranormal fiction, but usually the female lead makes mistakes learns from it. Not this time, the lead bad behavior , lying, and multiple betrayals is just accepted as her doing what she feels is best.
