Magnificent Story & Character Development
Revisado: 02-03-20
Could not stop listening to this excellent story. However, the ending is pure crap. Guess Mr. Clancy was writing to generate a strong revenue stream instead of reality.

Historia
The world is in the throes of economic decay and at the mercy of terrorists. Across this post-apocalyptic landscape marches one extraordinary soldier and his band of brothers. In a novel as disturbingly plausible as it is powerfully gripping, they are headed into a battle in which they will have to come to grips with the power of technology and the true price of freedom.

A Fair Read
Revisado: 12-24-19
Probably more profound when it was first published. Not earth shaking something to read when waiting at an airport and want to pass time.

Historia
Why is Red Bull so popular, though everyone—everyone!—hates the taste? Humans are, in a word, irrational, basing decisions as much on subtle external signals (that little blue can) as on objective qualities (flavor, price, quality). The surrounding world, meanwhile, is irreducibly complex and random. This means future success can’t be projected on any accounting spreadsheet. To strike gold, you must master the dark art and curious science of conjuring irresistible ideas: alchemy.

Interesting stories from the world of business advertising and marketing. A few rare boring moments.

Historia
Before Gabrielle Hamilton opened her acclaimed New York restaurant Prune, she spent 20 fierce, hard-living years trying to find purpose and meaning in her life. Above all she sought family, particularly the thrill and the magnificence of the one from her childhood that, in her adult years, eluded her. Hamilton’s ease and comfort in a kitchen were instilled in her at an early age when her parents hosted grand parties, often for more than 100 friends and neighbors. The smells of spit-roasted lamb, apple wood smoke, and rosemary garlic marinade became necessary to her.

More Life than Food Adventures
Revisado: 07-12-19
Gabby is an brilliant wordsmith. And a wonderful story teller. She has so much to offer her readers from her lifetime as a non-sexual masochist - just wanted to shake her and tell her she deserves so much more pleasure from her life. Her husband is basically an air thief. Wishing her continued success in all she does and please dump that horrid man who claims to be an adult partner and falls flat on his face.
