I really liked all the stories in this collection. But I have only one complaint. Has the author ever been to Colorado??? Everyone speaks with a southern accent? Two of the most liberal cities, Denver and Boulder, are filled with hillbilly homophobes? Why not base this story in Alabama? As someone who has lived in Colorado, I just had to imagine this story took place in the south to enjoy it. Maybe be this is an alternate universe. Such a weird choice to choose Colorado for it.

perfect narration made for a creepy novel

If i had read this book on my own I don't think it would of had the same feel. Christopher Lane's narration made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up on end. The book it's self was typical Jack Kilborn. Gruesome and a bit over the top, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I truely recommend to all horror novel fans.

Some of the topics of this book were a bit crude at first, but if you truly look at this story as a what if and let your logic go then it is truly enjoyable. I know we as humans don't know all there is to know, so maybe. I really recommend this book to all who truly love fiction.

This book was such a great find. It mixed mystery, the supernatural, along with an itimate view of close knit family suburan life. I can't recomend this book enough. Great from start to finish with never a dull moment.

This book had all the elements of being great, but fell short. The characters were all the same self centered brats who I really had a hard time caring about. The plot went round and round and went no where. Starts off strong then you soon relize its a waste of time.

A sad but very poweful story

I know some people said this story was disgusting and awful, but if you have ever lived in a home with family members that are mentally ill it makes sense. I see it as a cautionary tale that if you choose not to take care of your illness it will come back to kill you, either by your own hand or by the child you have passed your illness on too. None the less a great read for those with an open mind.
