Historia
Tall, curly-haired Teddie St. John - superb baker, bohemian bon vivant, mystery writer - is out walking her American Eskimo dog, Gracie, when her four-legged friend finds her missing silk scarf. The only problem? The scarf’s tied tightly around the neck of a beautiful blonde woman, Kristi, the fiancée of a touring British author. Before you can say Wisconsin kringle, Teddie becomes a murder suspect. Everyone in Lake Potawatomi knows all too well that the distinctive scarf is hers. But there are more layers to this case than there would have been on poor Kristi's wedding cake.

Good reading!

The narrator sounded like she was acting the part rather than just reading the book. She didn’t miss pronounce words which I really liked.

Historia

Their harborside loft has floor-to-ceiling bookcases and breathtaking views, but Jane's hopes of exploring the town with her man are stymied when Edwin steps on a stingray. Things take an even less romantic turn when Jane stumbles across a dead body . . . Instead of taking leisurely beach strolls, Jane is suddenly on a literary chase through time, unearthing a dark secret in her family tree that threatens all she holds dear back in Storyton.

I don’t think I have any dislikes. Just praise. I do wish the book was longer though.

This was the best book so far.
It wrapped up a lot of the stories loose ends.

Historia
Tara never imagined her introduction to Ireland like this - carrying her mam's ashes to honor her final request: "Tell Johnny I'm sorry.... Take me home." She's never met her mam's estranged brother, Johnny Meehan, who owns an architectural salvage business in Galway. Although Tara is immediately charmed by the medieval city, the locals seem wary of strangers, and a gypsy warns her that death is all around. When Tara arrives at her uncle's stone cottage, the prophesy seems true. A dead man lies sprawled over the threshold in a pool of blood.

Loved the accents!

I enjoyed this book. I liked the characters as they were life-like. I could just imagine the fussy inn keeper and the dreamy Danny. I gave it fur stars because there wasn’t enough about her uncle. You barely got a glimpse of him.
