Riding With King Jesus

I've read mixed reviews, but here's my take. I love ALL perspectives from ALL on this podcast. There are times (often) that one or more will bring to light a new part of the scripture that I had not considered before. Which prompts me to "dig deeper for the Treasure" who IS Jesus.

This podcast may not mean as much to some as it does me. It has been my anchor and encouragement to continue to seek God. When I feel alone or lost or depressed, I watch a random YouTube episode or re-listen to an older podcast. Sometimes it may take 2 or 3 to penetrate that cloud, but His Light will always shine through.

Laughter truly is the best medicine. When my husband passed away at the age of 45 (I being 33) in 2018, I turned to comedy to keep my spirits lifted. Mainly Carol Burnett, Chonda Pierce, and Duck Dynasty. Funny. Laughter. Good for me and my kids. Few years later, I stumble across this podcast. God send. I study more, I share more, and my heart is overflowing with the Word that I study and draw closer to.

Oh.Em.Gee. Such a wonderful book

Though not long, it's packed FULL of life. Comedy, anger, heart ache, contempt, love, redemption, scandal, etc. So much packed into one story. And the cast are MARVELOUS!!!! I can't stop raving about it. I've never thought much more of Lydia after Elizabeth dismisses her after her marriage to Wickham. But true to the strong Bennett Sisters strength, Lydia kicks butt and makes a tremendous stand in this world. Truly a marvelous feat for one so young. Must listen again and again. I love Pride and Prejudice, but Mrs. Wickham is an easy new beloved addition. Now that one has been written and wonderfully performed on George and Lydia Wickham, here's to hoping for possibly a blast to the past for a glimpse into Wickham and Darcy as young boys and the cause of their strife. Pretty Please.

My children and I loved listening to this so much. One of my kids sometimes struggles with keeping focus and remembering what they read or what was said on an audio book. They were so enthralled that they're still talking about it. Hoping to find more like these. Keep it up yall.

reminds me of my late husband

OK. just finished the entire Thomas Prescott series. hoping there will be more or more like this snarky cop in the future. my kids and I thoroughly enjoyed picking out phrases and actions that resembled something their daddy would've said and done. besides the quick comebacks and sarcastic remarks. our favorite, hands down, was him sitting on the pot and playing tetris. only Bryan would've been playing solitaire on his phone. lol. but still. Thomas and Bryan are deeply ingrained with a deep sense of family, duty, and protecting all. I loved this series and I hope and pray for more of your books. and hopefully the same narrator. he was great. thank you Nick. blessings and love to you.

down the rabbit hole in a new way

Loved this! Even as an adult, I crave to have an excuse to revisit Wonderland any and every chance I get. Wonderful story. Awesome characters. Now it's my kid's turn to listen. I think it'll match their personalities and tastes perfectly.
