Hard to hear

The background music is so loud compared to the narrator it is hard to hear and concentrate. Honestly, I love this story but hate this audio version. Pass.

I read this book a few years ago and really enjoyed it, so when it came out on audiobook, I jumped on a chance to listen. It is just as good as I remember and I really enjoyed the narrator's interpretation. Not too fast, not too slow. No goofy voices; just enough distinction. I love this world that Jessica has created and will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

The performer reads this so quickly that I have trouble keeping up, let alone children understanding the story. I'll never understand why children's books aren't read slow enough for, well, children!
