Brava! Honestly after the Segonian I was really worried. Cliff is a beloved character throughout the series and his book is definitely one of her better ones. All of the obnoxious/snobbish elements in her other books were not in this one. No political views or lifestyle choices. Pure romance.
She's not my favorite author but finding romance books without dumb, bimbos screaming "save me" are hard to find. Lizette is my favorite female character and Emma is a very close second.

And hallelujah she didn't used the word undulation ! it's not sexy and she has used in in every book, drives me crazy.

I am shocked this author was published. The storyline has promise but it is very clear the author has no clue about depth, action, fight scenes and unfortunately female strength. I mean I've read plenty of the damsels in distress books but this is so much worse.

Didn't make it past chapter 7

I really tried but wow, this was B-A-D. The story has a lot of promise but instead of developing characters or a plot, you are given insignificant fluff. The first chapter alone is about nothing but the MC complaining about wanting to change her contacts. Nothing else!
They author also follows the same ignorant route of writing a strong female character as a whiney, ditsy, smartass who makes one dumb decision after another. So cliche.

Unfortunate Flop

I've read enough Ruby Dixon books to know she has no clue how to write a strong female character. They end up being ignorant and bitchy. This book is no exception, however Liz is so hateful it ruins the entire book. The storyline is decent, her attitude ruins everything.

I liked the first book but this story is absolute trash. A dumber than dirt bimbo who does whatever she can to survive with her virginity in tact. I just cant. I refuse to read another book by this author out of pure digust.

Desperate Woman

Seems like a decent book if you can get over Anna throwing herself at Malcom whom does nothing but put her down. I couldn't, I enjoy females with self respect
