Bad audio detracts from great story.
Revisado: 06-17-24
Sorry but it’s distracting- lots of background noise, bad edits with half repeated sentences not cut out and a generally wonky pace. All stuff a pro engineer and producer would have cleaned up. Otherwise I fully believe the author believes 100% in what he’s saying- audio issues aside I am glad the author read the book. Nice, soothing voice that melds well with his incredibly harrowing and at points, horrifying, tale.

Historia
It would seem that pyramids were in my blood (they actually are). I was born at home in Laguna Beach, California, inside a 9-foot pyramid with a gold capstone on top. My mother’s labor and delivery was 10 minutes. Fascinated as a child yet slightly embarrassed, I was always drawn toward pyramids. After my father's sudden passing in 2011, I was thrust into the world of pyramids as I moved across the globe to revive my father's company, Pyradyne.

If you doubt the mainstream you’re a racist…
Revisado: 01-19-24
Wow. What a stupid book. If you doubt that the great pyramids were built by the Egyptians then u are a racist. So scientific! Despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary archeologists are still stuck on a narrative decided 150 years ago based on a fraction of the evidence now in play. Just infuriatingly short sighted and agenda driving rubbish.

Should have read instead
Revisado: 09-27-23
The author tries too hard to sound buoyant and cute. She’s talking about her childhood abuse and throwing in these forced laughs like she was talking about not being able to decide on her favorite coffee flavoring - this extra performance work made it super distracting for me- I get that she’s trying to keep the listener relaxed and positive but it just sounded forced and out of place. Made it hard to absorb the content which I do believe is very valuable. Definitely buying a hard copy to go back through it without the off putting narration.
