The different parts in the story was wonderful.I like the way they got the bad guys without showing their hands to much. The FBI & Local Police can work good together sometimes when need be.

Historia
The Grand Hotel is a horror novel by esteemed best-selling author Scott Kenemore ( Zombie, Ohio) that takes the reader on a thrilling ride through an interconnected series of stories narrated by the desk clerk and the residents of the hotel itself. And while it is not known whether or not the desk clerk is actually the devil incarnate, it is strange that so many visitors who come for a tour of the hotel have a way of never leaving.

This book was outstanding, couldn't stop listening
Revisado: 08-25-16
What made the experience of listening to Saving Abby the most enjoyable?
The fact her husband stood by her and her Dr. then she prepared a book for the baby after she felt she wouldn't be there for the baby herself.
What other book might you compare Saving Abby to and why?
I've never read a book so enjoyable with so much detail.
What about Angela Dawe’s performance did you like?
She went into detail about everything, the tumor, headaches, how to relax, how the town felt about her & her husband.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes it was
Any additional comments?
It brought tears to my eyes that Clare died in childbirth. But the relationship between the daughter and father is going to be so sweet.

Historia
Written in a flowing narrative style, Kitty Genovese: A True Account of a Public Murder and its Private Consequences presents the story of the horrific and infamous murder of Kitty Genovese, a young woman stalked and stabbed on the street where she lived in Queens, New York in 1964. The case sparked national outrage when the New York Times revealed that dozens of witnesses had seen or heard the attacks on Kitty Genovese and her struggle to reach safety but had failed to come to her aid or even call police until after the killer had fled.

Very Interesting & Intriquing
Revisado: 09-13-14
What made the experience of listening to Kitty Genovese the most enjoyable?
I couldn't believe this story was going to be so good. The details were so interesting about the way the murder to place and Kitty's neighbors just listened and did nothing. The way they talked to the police was even worst. To believe people just watch & hear things going on and say "I don't want to get involved." I know when the New York Times wrote so much about the story, the neighbors were upset, but they should have done more. She may have still been alive. This book really makes you think about how people think today.
What other book might you compare Kitty Genovese to and why?
None
What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?
That the neighborhood & building she lived in only concern was not getting involved.
Any additional comments?
I truly recommend more people reading/listening to this book. It's a wake up call.

Historia
With startling insight, Danielle Steel explores women's choices: between home and adventure, between the love for family and the passion for a cause, between sacrifice and desire. But at the heart of Mirror Image is a fascinating, realistic portrait of identical twins, two vastly different sisters who lead their lives and follow their destinies against a vivid backdrop of a world at war.

Very outstanding novel about twins
Revisado: 12-27-12
Where does Mirror Image rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book was so good, there were sad parts, funny parts, then you really got into the story when the twins decided to switch places and trick the husband. It took the son a year to figure out the real twin, but not the husband, even after having a set of twins with her. His wife left him not wanting to have sex, taking care of his son, or just being a wife. So her twin filled in great, but when she got hurt in Europe during the war and the head Nurse sent her Twin the telegram that she was serious ill, of course she took off to see about her and the husband complained, so he went along. So they had to tell him the truth of the switch
which totally upset him. And then she had to tell her sister she also had a son too, that really put a lid on the jar. They had to get back to the states caring each other and an infant, what a trick with shooting all around and getting to a ship; but they made it home. Safe and sound back to NY with their twins and son & housekeeper waiting. This would make an interesting MOVIE!
What does John Fleming bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The life, excitement, sadness,admosphere
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
A little bit of both.
Any additional comments?
John Fleming puts a lot of life in his narration
