Let me start my saying or absolutely love the In Death series. I have read all the books and have even started from the beginning again. It saddens me to say the last few books have become so boring and formulated. Add to that a subtle political view point signaling and I just find the listen tedious and long. This installment being the worst. It was so slow, predictable, boring because it lacked any real excitement. I would not waste a credit on this one.

I feel like I wasted hours of my life

I should have known not to continue after book one, but I gave it a chance. This series is nothing but a complaining , whining victim in Violeta and it drove me crazy. Complete waste of time and credits. Not even going to waste my time on the last book. From what I’m read in reviews it’s not worth it and it was a predictable ending of a series that could have been done in two books.

I completely enjoyed On Dublin Street and this book is just as good if not better. I am going to get more by this author. You will not be disappointed with this story.

Been a long time reader of this series

I have loved this series since book one. The characters have been developed beautifully. There is humor, wit, love, conflict. Over the years the suspense seems to be missing more. Just seem predictable and very formula based. I still read the new books because I have much time invested in the series, but they are getting underwhelming.

Changing narrators was a big mistake

The first three books were terrific and all the characters were developed so well and integrated with the narrators in those books. Changing that completely ruined the continued story for me. The voices were terrible, and everything fell flat. It was a struggle to finish this book and I found myself fast forwarding through it just to make the struggle stop.

I tried but just could not finish

I am an audio book junkie, I always have a book I am listening to. I can not remember the last time I could not finish a book but I could not finish this one. Narrator was like cardboard, just flat and toneless. Story was so shallow and predictable. I really wanted to stick it out but just gave up about 1/2 way through. Not worth the credit. Just pass on this one

Don’t waste a credit or money

This is a boring book, a story that dragged on and stayed in the shallow end of the pool. I am an audiobook junkie and I have always enjoyed MB stories. This book I had to force myself to finish. The damsel in distress was weak, and the alpha males were unbelievable I found myself talking back at the stories in frustration. Not even going to try further with this series. Very disappointing.

This story was just as good as book 1. Book two was a bit of a disappointment but this one makes up for it. Enjoying the story line and looking forward to book 4

Could not put this down!!!!! Amazing sorry

I LOVE all of Kristin Ashleys books, but this one touched my heart. KA always does an amazing job with character and story development but there was some extra special something about this book. I could not put it down and listened till late and night. Worth the purchase for sure.
