Fun and Light!
Revisado: 04-30-14
If you could sum up The Knighting of Sir Kaye in three words, what would they be?
Fun and Light!
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Knighting of Sir Kaye?
My 5-year old son: "The tournament because real knights always do it".
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
My son: "I really liked when the princess dubbed Sir Kaye."
Any additional comments?
My 5 year old son and I listened to this story together. We enoyed it and it gave us things to talk about. He's a little obsessed with knights right now, so the topic is perfect. It gave me an opportunity to talk about how not all knights were "good guys". It was a good book for the two of us to listen to and enjoy together and we can't wait for the next book in what will hopefully be a long, successful series.

Fun for Mom and Son
Revisado: 04-30-14
Would you listen to Igraine the Brave again? Why?
I most likely will listen to it again simply because my son has been asking to hear it again! My son said, "Yeah!!! Because I love it so much!"
Who was your favorite character and why?
My son: "Igraine because she was a knight."
Which scene was your favorite?
My son: "It was funny when Albert snapped his fingers and the arrows went backward!"
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
My son: "Happy. I LOVED it!"
Any additional comments?
My 5-year old son and I listened to this book together and talked about it as we went along. It gave us some great topics for discussion. While very simple in its storyline, it was not too juvenile for an adult to enjoy as a light read. At the same time, it was not too heavy, hyper or violent for a young child to enjoy. We hope there will be a sequal!
