Mixed bag here. One is excellent and should be filmed on the show. Changed a bit for the new Doctor and his companion(s) but really good.
The others veer from good to average. No bad ones.

Predictable Ending But Still Entertaining

What did you love best about Alien: Out of the Shadows?
Since the time frame is between the first two Alien films, the ending is a foregone conclusion but it is still a fun ride. The performances were really well done - I enjoyed it a lot.
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
I liked that it was an audio play and the voices worked together well - you were never confused about who was speaking or what was going on.

Recommend to adults and children who enjoy fantasy. Great vocal performance, great writing.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot was fun, the voices were wonderful, slightly scary but very clever and fun.
Which character – as performed by Jonathan Cake – was your favorite?
Nerd was a crack up. But they all were - from the main characters to the minor ones.
If you could take any character from The Gates out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Samuel and his dog. Definitely.

Clever mix of actual science and wild fantasy. Loved it.
