it's pretty good, flawed characters in a believable way. not full of the narrator reading off numbers and stats, a lot of world building.

i didn't hate it, but there was a lot of waiting, and explaining that he needed more mana, I like systems being explained, but being told a thousand times he needs just 2 more weeks a few months, constantly gets old. probably could've saved 7 hours of dead weight.

again, I don't hate the book. theres some parts that were really good. but the filler was killing me

can't wait for season 2. narrator was pretty good, I didn't expect much going in, but boy after the first 2 hours I couldn't stop listening. I use to read a lot, but with work, and how much I drive ive learn to love hearing stories. and this was fantastic, while yes very bloody it was very very good. think the game doom eternal but with an enemy way more devious and evil.

ive played this book 4 times since its come out. im probably going to play it again. I can't wait for the next 2 books, I dont know when but ill be buying them when they're out.

I'd say the character development and plot is getting to the point where its almost as good as brandon sanderson, how that man ties shit in is inhuman. I love these books, I want more. the vastness of the galaxy, the hints that there's more but you're not sure what. please keep going Anspac Cole. 10/10 book and narrator.

if this book were a lady and I wasn't married with a loving wife... the dirty things I'd do.... I love this series, I started with legionnaire, now I'm going to buy the rest from savage wars and whatever else this team writes.
