only 30 minutes long

I didn't realize it was only 30 minutes long. it seems a bit short for trying to induce deep sleep and Audible does not have a repeat feature. Also, one of the reviews said that the guys voice was perfect however his voice is not even audible. So, that review seems pretty questionable. If that one is suspect, how many others are as well.

I bought this book on both Kindle and Amazon and used the whisper sync function to read along and completely enjoyed it! The author did a great job breaking down different methods for achieving high performance and even summarized each section with action items. I have to admit I was a little reluctant to use a credit because the cover didn't appeal to me. however, this is the perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. I absolutely enjoyed this book and playing our reading it again.

short & sweet - perfect for my toddler

This was a great little book to listen to with my toddler. he was entranced by the voice and I could tell he was imagining the whole story. It was great. I particularly like that the story had a lesson. That's all too rare in children's books. This seems like it might become a series. if so, will definitely be checking out the other ones too.

wow!!! one of my favorite audiobooks ever!

this was one of those audiobooks that had me captivated to my headphones or in my car. I didn't want to get out because I wanted to hear how the chapter ended. Malcolm Gladwell does a great job of helping you rethink "norms".

I was completely glued to this book. The writing is stellar and the gentleman that reads this book does it so perfectly I could have sworn that he wrote it. The inflections and cadence are spectacular. Together with the fantastic content, I'm about to listen to it again.

insightful but felt inconclusive

The book definitely gave insight into how Chinese parenting works and I completely appreciate her honesty and the comparisons to the Western culture
However, I was left wondering what approach really works. Also, she had references to her pets that ended up being useless anecdotes. I was hoping for some connection that would bring it all together but I don't feel like I got that. So, though I appreciate the insight, it felt inconclusive.
