Historia
The Introvert Advantage dispels common myths about introverts - they’re not necessarily shy, aloof, or antisocial - and explains how they are hardwired from birth to focus inward, so outside stimulation such as chitchat, phone calls, parties, or office meetings can easily become "too much". Most importantly, it thoroughly refutes many introverts’ belief that something is wrong with them. Instead, it helps them recognize their inner strengths - their analytical skills, ability to think outside the box, and strong powers of concentration.

Insightful!!!
Revisado: 04-02-21
This was a great book! As an introvert I always wondered why words may escape in social settings or why I may respond in certain ways. This book helps introverts to understand these are all very normal and common behaviors with being an introvert.
For the few critics that may feel the book does not focus on the advantages of introverts or pushes towards behaving like an extrovert, the book provided examples of the areas introverts shine in. Mainly the book helps introverts understand the traits of being an introvert, and that they are normal, to embrace it, the world needs it, and more than anything they are not alone.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Great inspiring book!!

This was a well thought out and written book! I will definitely revisit it periodically as a refresher. I love that it’s not necessarily what people would perceive it to be by the title. It touches on so many dynamics from taking accountability, debunking certainty, accepting mediocrity, and facing one’s mortality. I definitely want to share this book with all of my loved ones.

In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Truly touched!!
Revisado: 10-16-17
My husband and I watch the Daily Show as “must-see-tv” every night to tune into Trevor’s brilliant and funny take on key current events. This book only adds to the admiration for him and all that he has been through. As an African-American born and raised in the U.S. inner-city I saw sooo many parallels with his story. I learned so much. I did not want the book to end. It was well thought out, well written, and brilliantly performed. Job well done!! I am a life-long fan!!!
