Learning from Jami how to follow my breadcrumbs toward my giftings and subsequently heal through Jesus!

I have known Jami through social media for years (and actually got to meet her face-to-face in real life once, though she may not remember… ). I have heard her testimony many times, but the thing that gets me is that every I hear it, I learn something new and can apply it differently but directly to my life. This book was no exception! Her testimony is just the tip of the iceberg… Her hilariously relatable storytelling ability is a true gifting… her church hurt is real, but her message of hope and growth is too!!!

The season I am coming out of, gave me new ears to hear… To understand her differently, and therefore myself… my own church hurt… AND OUR GLORIOUS CREATOR!!! In reflecting on the breadcrumbs of my past, leading to my present, I’m able to get back to what I dreamed up as a child and now dream about for the future and how that was meant to serve His Kingdom all along (although blissfully unaware for most of my life).

I am inspired to serve in my giftings after reading this book, that feels like one of those talks you have with a dear friend where you can be totally transparent and seen over coffee in your living room, with a giant pile of laundry, and grimy pans in the sink…and (bread)crumbs all over the floor…truly without judgement, but what’s more, actually with celebration!!! Of how He’ll use them!!! I don’t know how yet… but what I do know is: I’m doing it scared because…
