Better narration needed

The narrator had a lovely speaking voice. However. he tended to drop his tone and volume for every subordinate clause making it virtually impossible to hear the nuanced context provided by those salient details. I have listened to many audiobooks. This is one of the few reviews I have ever submitted. While the content of the book is sound, I found myself very frustrated throughout.
