Historia
For Evie O’Brian, making a living stealing things from the rich and powerful has lost its shine. After a decade spent circling the globe and building her reputation as one of the best, she finds herself mere hours from everything she ran away from. Great Debut!
Revisado: 04-16-23
Meaghan’s debut was fantastic! Mafia can be hit or miss for me, and this definitely was a hit! The characters are all well developed and the story had the perfect blend of action and romance. I’m 100% invested and can’t wait to meet the rest of the characters in the series. Stella and J.F. were the perfect Evie and Declan.

Historia
Luc O'Donnell is tangentially - and reluctantly - famous. His rock-star parents split when he was young, and the father he's never met spent the next 20 years cruising in and out of rehab. Now that his dad's making a comeback, Luc's back in the public eye, and one compromising photo is enough to ruin everything. To clean up his image, Luc has to find a nice normal relationship...and Oliver Blackwood is as nice and normal as they come. He's a barrister, an ethical vegetarian, and someone who has never inspired a moment of scandal in his life. He’s perfect boyfriend material.

Absolutely Inspiring
Revisado: 01-27-21
I didn’t want this to end. Michelle’s story is incredibly inspiring. She tells us about her childhood all the way up to what it was like being FLOTUS. I was genuinely surprised at how emotional her story was/is and how many times she had me tearing up at my desk hearing about her experiences as First Lady.

Historia
From New York Times & USA Today Bestseller, Vi Keeland, comes a steamy new romance novel. The rules: No dating. No sex outside of the game. No disclosing the terms of the contract. Rules were made to be broken, right? Eight weeks ago I signed a contract. One that seemed like a good idea at the time. A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed. There were some rules though. Lots of them actually. Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal.

My First Vi Keeland Book, But Not My Last!
Revisado: 05-18-16
As I said above, this was my first book from Vi and I don’t know what took me so long. Poor judgement on my part. VERY poor. Don’t make my same mistake, folks! I really enjoyed the story and found myself not wanting to close my Audible app once I got to work. I found myself sitting at my desk wondering what was going to happen between Coop and Kate; I actually did a little fist pump when I had OT because it meant I could pop my ear buds in and continue listening once the bosses left lol (shhh don’t tell). Not only did the story draw me in, Sebastian and Molly did as well. They did an outstanding job bringing their respective characters to life and I really think it make the experience better for me. I loved my alpha movie exec, Cooper. He was swoony and sexy and everything I love about a book boyfriend. Kate was strong-willed, dedicated to her family, and not at all intimidated by Cooper’s money or power. I liked the the bachelor styled reality theme and the way it was presented surprised me. The bachelor wasn’t who I was expecting and I loved the twist. I especially LOVED hearing Cooper call his “competition” dickhead. Hearing it vs reading it had me cracking up; I found myself rewinding those parts A LOT! Cooper’s younger brother, Miles, created the perfect blend of angst and I-want-to-smash-his-face-in; I was sorry to see Coop didn’t swing at him. I would’ve cheered!! If you have the ebook already I can’t suggest enough adding the Audible narration, I do think it’ll add to your reading experience, and if you don’t have the ebook, this one is definitely worth the buy, or credit! The storyline was entertaining and engaging and the narration was spot on!

Absolutely Loved It!
Revisado: 05-18-16
I’ve had Pushing the Limits on my Kindle for what felt like forever, but between a full-time job during the day and editing at night, getting to read it started to feel impossible. Fast forward to a blogger friend asking if anyone reviewed audiobooks and to PM her if you do. So I PM’d her and said I love audiobooks and wouldn’t mind listening and reviewing. She said the book was Pushing the Limits by Brooke Cumberland and would I still be interested. I blinked, looked around, my heart beat faster in excitement, and I swear I heard the music from the Heavens above. It was like divine intervention! I COULD FINALLY “READ” MY STUDENT/TEACHER BOOK!!! I was disappointed I hadn’t realized the audiobook had been recently released because I was stalking it like a mother—.
Anyhooo, on to the book… I freaking loved everything about this story. The slow build-up of Aspen and Morgan’s relationship was perfection. The chemistry and pull was evident from the very start, but they started out slowly. There was no hurry-up-let’s-get-in-each-other’s-pants. They had mutual interests and kept finding themselves at the same places at the same times, (class not included) so they were able to get to know each other as people, not just as teacher/student. It was seeing them getting to know each other that made me happy and root for them. I found myself looking forward to their time together in class because I loved seeing the stolen moments and glances between them. They both had things from their past to deal with, so seeing them find some well-deserved happiness and watching them help each other heal made me want to do cartwheels in my office. The secondary storyline pulled me in just as much as the main one did. Morgan was raising his pre-teen niece, and I swear to Jesus “Uncle Morgan” made me want to hand over my ovaries to him on a silver platter! I swooned and melted every damn time that man was in “uncle” mode. I really can’t find a bad thing to say about the book or the characters. The audio comes in a little under 12 hours and the Kindle says 566 pages, but I wouldn’t have minded if it went on longer. The narrator did a great job narrating the different characters and giving them each a different feel, except for one…Zoe. Now, I’ll admit I may be biased and this is probably a personal thing, BUT Aspen’s friend Zoe is from New Jersey, as am I, and I’m not quite sure what research the narrator did for a Jersey accent, but I kept cringing when I’d hear Zoe speak. I’d yell in my head, “We don’t sound like Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny!” But like I said, I’m a born and raised Jersey girl so it’s probably my issue and mine alone. It didn’t lessen my love of this story.

Historia
With a famous NHL player for a stepbrother, Violet Hall is well acquainted with the playboy reputation of many a hockey star. So of course she isn't interested in legendary team captain Alex Waters or his pretty, beat-up face and rock-hard six-pack abs. But when Alex inadvertently obliterates Violet's misapprehension regarding the inferior intellect of hockey players, he becomes much more than just a hot body with the face to match.

I'll Be A Puck Bunny!
Revisado: 05-18-16
love Helena Hunting’s writing and was anxiously awaiting the audiobook release of Pucked. The story didn’t disappoint at all. I loved Violet’s awkwardness and her complete lack of a filter. Alex, while he had his douche moments, was a great guy overall. He and Violet complemented each other perfectly! Muffy made a wonderful Violet; she nailed all of Violet’s quirks and awkward outbursts; however, Nathan didn’t sound like any Canadian I’ve ever met or heard. I felt at times his accent was a bit too forced. He didn’t kill the story for me per se, but I wouldn’t have minded if Muffy narrated the whole book. Her male voice was done quite well. Overall, I really loved this one and I’m happy the audiobook releases of Pucked Up and Pucked Over are here as well. I’m ready for the Yeti and Randy Balls!

Charlie is in trouble, and he must be the one to bridge the chasm between their past and their present. Because somewhere between "I love yous" and "never nevers" and "never agains", a truth they can't imagine beckons to be found.

Ready for Part Three!
Revisado: 08-19-15
Never Never Part Two picks up where part one left off, so this definitely is not a standalone! In this continuation we do get a little more insight into the possible who(s) want Silas and Charlie to keep losing their memories and we get a lot more backstory into the history of their families and their relationship. The remaining questions are how do they keep losing their memories and why. Listening took about two and a half hours to finish and the narrators did a great job keeping me engaged. Kevin and Elizabeth captured the confusion of Silas and Charlie’s plight really well and hearing their voices full of shock, confusion, and fear made the story come to life. While I wished we got a few more answers to the questions part one left us with, Colleen and Tarryn have left me dying for part three!

Two lives, two losses, and one meeting that changed their lives forever. Learning to move on and to love again isn't always easy. The circle of life. It's something we all know about, but we are never truly prepared for the unexpected. The unexpected that comes out of nowhere. No warning, no heads-up, nothing. Just God giving us pure bliss and happiness and then taking it away in the blink of an eye.

A Beautiful Story of Healing and Finding Love!
Revisado: 07-31-15
I really liked She Writes Love. A lot. From the synopsis, we learn Paisley and Ben both lose their spouses at relatively young ages. Losing your other half at any age is hard enough, but I feel like Paisley and Ben dealt with an added element of hurt and loss because of their young age; they both felt cheated out of their future. One of the things I enjoyed the most was seeing the way both of them dealt with their respective losses (I swear I don’t mean that the way it sounds!). Their feelings were raw and real. They both threw themselves into their work and each day was a struggle to move on. They put on happy faces for everyone else, because let’s face it, that’s what you do after you lose someone you love. You pretend you’re ok for those around you meanwhile you’re struggling to get out of bed some days. I’ve been there. Everything about their journey of healing and finding love again was real and honest. I loved the way Paisley and Ben formed their friendship by sharing their stories of loss and finding and finding someone who wholly understood what the other was feeling. It was sweet to watch their friendship, little by little, without them realizing it, turn into more. I also appreciated the honest and open communication between them when it came to their feelings regarding their spouses. They never made each other feel guilty for missing them; they encouraged the other to talk about them and truly wanted to know about the people they were. I knew going in this would pull at my heart, and it did! It tugged hard, but the emotional journey and destination was well worth my tears and heartache! I would absolutely love to read more about these two or any of Paisley or Ben’s family’s because they were an awesome set of (meddling lol) secondary characters!

Great Conclusion to This Series!
Revisado: 07-01-15
What did you like best about this story?
Being a fan of Jasinda, and this series I kind of knew going in that my heart would take a beating. And it did. And I loved it.
Having “read” this as an Audible I also loved the added element of surprise. Reason being, when I read I tend to let my eyes wander down the page and read ahead of where I actually am in the story. I liked not being able to do that here because I was able to experience every shock, twist, and moment of heartbreak as it happened. I don’t even know where to begin; Falling Away was FULL of hurt and heartache; feelings of guilt and regret, but best of all: healing. Ben and Echo made my chest hurt! They were both so broken and lost until a sad twist of fate brought them together— even though that “twist” made me cry— I was so happy it happened! I loved seeing them be there for each other when they needed it most, and I loved seeing Ben not give up on Echo when she needed him most. Poor Echo was a bit of a hot mess, but Ben NEVER gave up on her and never let her give up on herself. It makes me smile and my heart beat faster thinking about how he loves her *sigh*. This was such a great conclusion to this series and, while I’m sad it’s over, I’m so glad it’s one that I got to experience.
