Historia
Dr. Mark Fabian is dead - bludgeoned in his office. But that doesn’t stop former patient Nadine Raines from talking to him - in her head. Why did she come back to her hometown after so many years away? Everyone here thinks she’s crazy. And she has to admit - they might have good reason to think so. She committed a shockingly violent act when she was 16, and has never really been able to explain that dark impulse - even to Fabian. Meanwhile, as detective Henry Peacher investigates Fabian’s death, he discovers that shortly before he died, Fabian pulled the files of two former patients.

Hard to finish.
Revisado: 07-18-19
I couldn't get into this book. I had to make myself listen to the end after starting for the third time. It seemed to never pick up. I kept thinking I was zoning out and maybe missing something, so I would go back and nope, it was just that dull. I do not recommend this book to anyone.

Movie is actually better than the book.
Revisado: 12-22-17
This is one of the rare cases where the movie is better than the book. I'm not sure how to explain it. The plot is good but the way the story is told isn't, if that makes sense. The narrator is ok.

Historia
You can believe because of the evidence, not in spite of it. For the first 35 years of his life, J. Warner Wallace was a devout atheist. After all, how can you believe a claim made about an event in the distant past for which there is little forensic evidence? Then Wallace realized something. Christianity was a lot like the cold cases he solved as a homicide detective - cold cases that turned out to have enough evidence, eyewitnesses, and records to solve.

strengthens faith
Revisado: 03-26-17
The only issue I had was the narrator sounded robotic to me. I greatly appreciated the information and case work presented. It strengthened my faith a step further and has given me reliable documentation to affirm my beliefs to myself and others. I had many nagging questions in the back of my mind over the years concerning the accuracy of the gospels due to what seemed to be contradictions. This book more than cleared these apprehensions up for me by presented the facts in a non biased way. thank you for the no doubt countless hours spent compiling this data for me.

Historia
Anna Kendrick's autobiographical collection of essays amusingly recounts memorable moments throughout her life, from her middle-class upbringing in New England to the blockbuster movies that have made her one of Hollywood's most popular actresses today. Expanding upon the witty and ironic dispatches for which she is known, Anna Kendrick's essays offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she's experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture.

if you're are sarcastic and misunderstood
Revisado: 02-02-17
very easy to listen to without getting bored- but that's because i relate to being weird and sarcastic. i think anyone with a dry sense of humor will enjoy but more conventional people might cringe. Anyone reading this would most likely know what she's like before purchasing it. it was a relief to hear someone express herself in a way i could relate to.
