Historia
For the last three years, Georgia has called the quirky southern town of Sugartree home, dutifully moving back to manage her parent’s coffee shop after her father suffered a heart attack and finding contentment in her busy schedule and the occasional shenanigans of her three younger siblings. When Lakeland Lovett, troubled son of the local pastor, wafts through the door of Good Start Coffee like a tantalizing cup of hot chocolate, Georgia promises herself she won’t fall prey to his charms and annoyingly perfect face again.

Beautiful, feel good
Revisado: 02-21-24
This is a book that will pick you up right away. A sweet love story and an all around feel good storyline. I found myself looking for ways to be able to sit down and listen. The writing and the reading were top notch. Highly recommend this book and the narrator took the story to the next level. Fantastic!

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

the underlying secrets of where someone's childhood

I loved everything about this book. I hate that it was a true story but hopefully it shows others their faults, strengths and everything in between. Great read.

Beautiful to imagine
Revisado: 11-28-23
This book will transport you into a beautiful world of simple time, when love was treasured and moved slow. The names of characters and the stories told on each are fun and inviting. An easy, fun read for any reader.

Historia
Even among special agents, Andromeda Stone is special. Her unique ability to walk in the dreams of others has placed her in the services of a secret government research and defense facility known only as The Agency. She always assumed it was because of her gift that she felt out of place, even among her family; but as she faces an entirely new and dangerous mission, perhaps it's something deeper that sets her apart.

Great read!
Revisado: 06-27-22
I loved this title. I read/listened to this book on Audible and found myself looking for places to hide so I could listen/read. The concept dreamwalking makes you think and wonder if you too could dream walk. (Maybe someday) It's a mystery meets fantasy with some romance mixed in for readers I'm excited for Dreamwalker: Book 2!
