Historia
An African safari camp in North Idaho? Won't happen, not if eco-activist Roadkill can convince his brother Ed Mustard to drop the plastic jar bearing his ex-wife's ashes and fight the developer. Together they face the wannabe big game hunter, his wacky minions and his fake preacher-in-a-pocket. Cue the docile water buffalo and the frozen wolf corpse and let the chaos begin!

What did you love best about Mustard's Last Stand?
As an Idaho native, I stepped into this wacky world of a small town of northern Idaho and truly enjoyed the stay! It made me homesick!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Mustard's Last Stand?
I don't want to give away too much of the book, suffice it to say that an elderly lion is involved...
What does JoBe Cerny bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His voice really drew me into the world. I had read this novel before in eBook format, but it had been quite a while and I was pleased with what his voice made me notice and experience different in the audio version.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
In several parts I laughed out loud. I also enjoyed the complexity of some of the relationships. They rang true.
Any additional comments?
I really want to go back to Hancock, Idaho!

Historia
A klutzy witch, a shaman's curse, a quest to save her family. Can Kat find her magic in time? If you’re a witch living on a remote arctic island, and the entire island runs on magic, lacking magical skills is not just an inconvenience, it can be a matter of life and death – or, at least, a darn good reason to run away from home. Katrina’s spells don’t just fizzle; they backfire with spectacular results, oftentimes involving green goo. A failure as a witch, Kat decides to run away and find her dead father’s non-magical family.

Fun tale for tweens and above

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would definitely recommend this book to any of my friends who enjoy YA fantasy tales. This is a true charmer.
Which character – as performed by Lisa Baarns – was your favorite?
Rather than picking one particular character, I wanted to mention that Baarns does an excellent job of making the characters distinct and different in voice, without bumping me out of the story.I only gave four stars because at first her voice made it a little difficult for me to get into the story--for about five minutes. But after that it was really good, so it may just be me and the fact that I'd read the story a long time ago, so may have had a "voice in my head" to begin with.
Any additional comments?
I've read a couple of The Witches of Goldenheim books and look forward to listening to them as well. Fun stuff!
