The authors credibly call into question one of America’s most influential trend-setters; Dr. Anthony Fauci. Whichever side of the aisle you are on and whatever your thoughts and feelings on COVID and it’s accompanying restrictions, the book provides something that has been missing throughout the entirety of this pandemic: opposing opinions and tough questions to Dr. Fauci. Balancing meticulously cited data with earnest and poignant dialogue, the authors deliver a credible and robust counter-argument to many of the actions our nation’s leaders have put into place during this global pandemic. Even if you detest the content of this book, the necessity of its own argument for its existence is a frightening sign of the times. One great way to counter that trend? Read it.

Great Story, worst narration ever

This story is great, especially if you like the Ultra Marines. That said, this narrator is the worst on the planet. He makes the characters sound like stereotypical morons. He constantly rolls his “R”s on one character in particular, making it difficult to even listen to. Honestly, I had to fast forward just to get past the irritating sound. It ruined the character for me. He makes the Space Wolf character sound like Dracula instead of a brave and lovable brawler. Honestly, his voicing of almost every character is offensive to the ears (something that matters in an audio performance) and betrays the depth and complexity that the characters actually have.

Great book, narrator drives me insane

The book and story and great. Starts a bit slow and jumps around a bit, but picks up steam as it should and then you’re grateful for the beginning developing the way it did. The narrator made me insane more than once. I don’t really need a voice actor for all the different characters. Quite frankly, I would rather imagine their voices as I’d like. There were just too many times when he was over the top; too quiet and such, speaking right into the microphone. It drove me crazy when I just wanted to hear the damned conversation, not all this overdone inflection and quietness and crap. This seems to be common with narrators. Again, I just want to hear the story, I’ll let my imagination take care of the voices and inflections.

This isn't a book, it's a collection of interviews

The first thing that bothered me about the book is that it's not a book at all. It's just a collection of speeches people give and other interviews. None of them were intended for a book or any kind of linear presentation. Also, the content isn't useful. I didn't learn anything I wanted to know about actual negotiation with this. I wanted tips, skills, techniques, and the like. All I really heard, in a terrible format, was people talking about past experiences with negotiating. I do not recommend this "book".
