Overcoming tragic past to a beautiful future

The summer you found me by Elizabeth tackles many heavy, but quite relatable subject matter to a lot of people. Having a family member with drug addiction and going through rehab - Kate’s character hit close to home.

After coming back from rehab, Kate wants to win back her ex-husband. But with no other place to go, she moves in with her ex husband’s best friend. Seeing this friendship between them move into something more and how Elizabeth pulls you in. This story of growth and overcoming obstacles with unrequited love and forced proximity is a recipe for one heart wrenchingly beautiful story.

Elizabeth has a way with words and story telling that is like no other. The layers and character building is beautiful.

I was lucky enough to enjoy this story via audio and highly suggest! These narrators (Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais) bring this story to life!

Loving Romeo by Laura Pavlov is the first in her Magnolia Falls series. I listened to the audio and I highly suggest if you get the chance to do so - do it. Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais brought these characters to life. Also - Samantha is the queen of male POVs.

This is an opposites attract, different sides of the track, MMA, enemies to friends to lovers romance. Demi is Magnolia Falls royalty as they say and Romeo is kid with a past we learn about in the story who owns his one MMA gym. The found family vibe of these characters is so fun and refreshing. Both characters go through the “it’s not always what it seems” moments.

When these two finally get together it is magical and hot!! Loved when his buddies were basically like “we see how you look at her.”

The sports aspect and MMA fighting was so fun to read. I haven’t read many MMA romances and I really enjoyed this.

This book had me smiling, blushing, tearing up and turning the “page” to find out what happens next. Also - can we talk about Beefcake!?!? Obsessed!!!

I highly recommend this book especially the audio!

Another amazing Eden story

What do you get when you have Devney Perry’s writing talent, small town montana, the Eden family and a sprinkle of mystery? An amazing addition to the Eden series! I loved being back here and being with all my fav characters. I don’t want to give anything away but all I have to say is you need to read this!

Absolute perfection!

What else can I say besides “wow”. With the first two books, I have always been so intrigued by Jesse and wondered who his love interest would be. This story exceeded all expectations - and I knew it was going to be good because the first two were beautiful. But this book - Jesse is swoon worthy.

Joss, a single mother, working hard to support herself so she can get away from her awful ex is such a strong character. Some of the stars of this book are her two kids - June and Jude. The banter between all of the characters is top notch. This story does deal with some heavier topics but is done so beautifully. Brit had me laughing, swooning and crying through this - such an emotional rollercoaster.

This better live series is a comfort read that I will continue to go back to - and listen to. I listened to the audio of this and these narrators brought these characters to life!! 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful emotional ride

Tyler and Annie - these two were attracted like magnets and it was a beautifully, angsty and emotional road to the end. What happens when you meet the right person at the wrong time!?! The story was definitely worth the ride.

I listened to this as an audio and oh wow these narrators!!! Teddy H is everything!!

Beautiful ending to this amazing series

I miss Rae and Harrison!! This book was the perfect ending to this series! The back and forth, the banter, the heartbreaking emotion and fun plot (as well as amazing narrators) made this a very un-put-downable story. Not only were these strong main characters, the secondary characters also had such an impact. These were my first books by Piper but will not be my last.
