It was a riveting murder mystery
Revisado: 01-28-25
It was pretty good. I got to the end of the book. I was stressed about 1/3 of the book thinking something was going to happen that didn’t.
I was kinda wanting a big twist at the end (bc for some reason I thought there would be one) but not really so I think I dissappointed myself with that one.
Worth the read but probably not reading anymore of the series.

Historia
In this thrilling narrative, O’Reilly blends primary, never-before-released interview material with a history that recounts Trump’s childhood and family and the factors from his life and career that forged the worldview that the president of the United States has taken to the White House. Not a partisan pro-Trump or anti-Trump book, this is an up-to-the-minute, intimate view of the man and his sphere of influence.

Bias big time!
Revisado: 09-29-24
I usually love Bill O’Reilys books and have generally seen him as unbiased and fair perspective from different sides.
This is full on defense.
I do feel like most of this book is defending Mr. Trumps behavior as means for and end good result.

Historia
The Catenan Republic—the Hierarchy—may rule the world now, but they do not know everything. I tell them my name is Vis Telimus. I tell them I was orphaned after a tragic accident three years ago, and that good fortune alone has led to my acceptance into their most prestigious school. I tell them that once I graduate, I will gladly join the rest of civilized society in allowing my strength, my drive, and my focus—what they call Will—to be leeched away and added to the power of those above me, as millions already do. As all must eventually do.

Historia
Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College-Violet included. But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky. Now the real training begins, and Violet’s already wondering how she’ll get through. It’s not just that it’s grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it’s designed to stretch the riders’ capacity for pain beyond endurance. It’s beautifully written. Even as a white woman this book very much resonates with me. Particularly with how coming out of poverty has left its marks, and how that can become my super power. I love her honesty and she writes with a mix of eloquence and assertiveness that I very much respect. She gives words to our journey and has a message we all need to hear about our own imago dei.
