Eye Opening
Revisado: 01-05-24
From beginning to end this book reveals incredible insight into stories we thought we knew. So much was unknown about a person who has been photographed and written about her entire life. You really do not know anything about these people or their lives tegardless of all the media obsession.
I am so grateful to Ms. Spears for writing this book and allowing us to see the truth and experience her reality. I hope she will be able to find peace and love in her new found freedom. Britany Spears deserves privacy to heal from the horrendous traumas inflicted on her by the media, her ex husband, her closet family members, and all of us who watched and thought nothing of it.
To Ms Britany Spears, I thank you for your bravery and your perseverance. You are a very strong woman and I wish you love and peace and happiness in whatever form you decide. Your life is yours now - as it should have always been.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Family, Duty, and The Media
Revisado: 12-12-23
Striping away all the bells and whistles of the fairytales we tell ourselves about what it must be like to be royal, Spare is an autobiography of a person who has loved deeply, fought bravely, and lost greatly.
All his loves and losses documented in tabloid headlines. All the manipulations, distortions of truth, outright fabricated lies, and the unhinged obsession of the media and tabloid trolls are set out for all to see.
Surrounding every move made by a this child, boy, and eventual man are greedy press photographers feasting on the heartbreaks and missteps of a human being who had the audacity to be born into Royalty.
There is so much heart in this book. The passion and compassion of this author comes through on every page. Honesty is rare to come by, but this book has it from beginning to end. With the consideration that this level of openness from someone in such a secretive and historical family, there is little reason to doubt the author - or at the very least to doubt that everything in this book is truthful to his memory of events.
This book lays out all the criminal lengths the press will go to just for a headline. There is a great deficit of morality, ethics, and humanity in the British media.... and the American media (Brittany Spears). Something seriously needs to be corrected in how the media is allowed to get pictures and create stories. Harassment and stalking are illegal when a normal person does it, but somehow photographers are allowed to stalk and harass "famous" people with almost total impunity. If Diana's death wasn't enough in the 90's, what will be enough in 2023/24?

Historia
Queen Elizabeth II’s death ruptured the already-fractured foundations of the House of Windsor—and dismantled the protective shield around it. With an institution long plagued by antiquated ideas around race, class and money, the monarchy and those who prop it up are now exposed and at odds with a rapidly modernizing world.

More Informative Than Expected
Revisado: 12-01-23
While I know the media focus on this book will be about Meghan and Harry; that is not where the focus should be. Far more important than the in-fighting of a mega rich family.
First, the crimes committed by specific family members.... Prince Albert. A whole chapter is on him and his sex crimes - could be a whole book in and of itself.
Then, the historical ties to the human slave trade around the world. Which also received a dedicated chapter but should be a set of books which should be required reading for school children.
Also, THE MEDIAS TOXIC PRACTICES.
Finally, the last two chapters are really important to consider. What value does the Monarchy have in today's society? What do they actually give to their people? Financially speaking, the entire institution is a multi billion dollar loss for their country. And politically, they aren't meant to have any REAL power anymore.
This book is more than a tea-spilling, tell- all on one family's drama. This book offered a lot more than I expected.
