A historical love story during WWII mirrored with present day.
The variety of narrators gave each character their own voice and character.
I didn't want this book to end, so pleased the author, Jillian Cantor has written more to enjoy.

Historia
Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

Revisado: 03-07-16
Quirky characters, heartwarming and fun to listen to. Narrated by George Newbem did a good in the adaptation of characters, especially Ove. I'm glad I had it on audible, would have missed interpretation of Ove

I have gotten so much from the first time, not sure I will need to.
What did you like best about this story?
It describes life after motherhood so well, also validates so much!
Which character – as performed by Claire Fontaine and Mia Fontaine – was your favorite?
Related all to well to Claire, but enjoyed Mia's take on her mom and life.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It is laugh out loud funny. The book made me want more from my relationship with my adult daughter. No more "walking on eggshells"
