Speedy compilation of instagram-style advices
Revisado: 01-19-20
I bought this book because of all praising in comments, and oh boy what a disappointment this was to listen to it. This seemed to be a quick compilation of Instagram-style advices and " popular " short articles on a subject (those called "7 ways to stop eating unhealthy" and full of "healthy grains" ads). When you want to binge, just go for a walk. Have a healthy grains for a breakfast. Try to deal with emotions other way than eating. Planning healthy life style is the same as succeeding in it! What a ridiculous jumping from one topic to another. This book was not that expensive, so I just consider it a complete waste of time.

Historia
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

Solid fantasy yet with new things mixed in
Revisado: 09-28-18
Nowadays it's pretty hard to find something new among fantasy realms. Most of authors vaguely copy J.R.R. Tolkien's or R. Salvatore settings, add some out-of-nowhere heros and villains (you can't get their motives while reading), than add a pinch of awkward dialogs, and start stamping one sequel after another.
Quite the opposite, Mr. Sanderson manages to invent new ideas while creating very solid and detailed world. Both readers did amazing job, their voices add so much to this great listen.

Historia
My name is Kvothe. You may have heard of me. So begins a tale told from his own point of view - a story unequaled in fantasy literature. Now in The Wise Man’s Fear, Day Two of The Kingkiller Chronicle, Kvothe takes his first steps on the path of the hero and learns how difficult life can be when a man becomes a legend in his own time.

So catching and unusual, definitely must-read
Revisado: 07-06-16
Though not without a couple of genre cliches, it's an awesome read. I enjoyed it very much, good fantasy is such a rare thing nowadays. The narrator's performance enhanced it greatly. Third book to come is in my wish list.

Eugene O’Neill’s tale of Ephraim Cabot, greedy and hard like the stone walls that surround his farm, the family patriarch brings home his new young bride, Abbie. His grown sons dissaprove; one leaves but the other stays to fight for the family fortune. What follows is a tragedy of epic proportions.

Story is contrived, though performed great.
Revisado: 03-11-16
All the conflicts are contrived and weak, though performance is outstanding. Reminded me of a patchwork blanket. I wonder why it was rated so high.

Historia
Joyce’s experimental masterpiece set a new standard for modernist fiction, pushing the English language past all previous thresholds in its quest to capture a day in the life of an Everyman in turn-of-the-century Dublin. Obliquely borrowing characters and situations from Homer’s Odyssey, Joyce takes us on an internal odyssey along the current of thoughts, impressions, and experiences that make up the adventure of living an average day.

I've read this book at high school to feel myself modern and educated and I sort of struggled to the end. I must notice that proper narrator changes things dramatically. John Lee is the king amongst narrators indeed.

So if you read one of them, you probably find everything going on in other ones vaguely familiar. Though the story is pretty dynamic (though full of clichees) and is a good read while long rides or cooking.
