Short but helpful. A lot of what is in this book was simply reminders that I'm doing what I need to but I believe everyone who has experienced such a specific loss should be able to find some comfort in this book. Even if it is just knowing that you're not alone and you're not the only one who has gone through this. Things can get better. We just gotta push through. Feel your feels but handle business.

Perfect Reference for Cultural Reconnect

I felt that American Brujeria was the perfect thing to help me get reconnected to my cultural heritage, despite being a 7th generation Mexican-American with a white father. I'm very white passing and most people don't believe me when I tell them that I am Mexican-American as well. in the past, this has held me back from exploring that part of my spirituality because I didn't think that I fit in enough to be allowed. however, the introduction itself just made me feel so whole and, admittedly, I did cry reading it. I'm really thankful for this book as it's really helped me jump start the reconnection within myself. so, thank you J. Allen Cross. thank you.

A Great Intro To Mesopotamian Mythology

This 5 hour long book kept me company through a long laundry day. I found it gave me a lot of good information. I've been trying to learn about these Myths for years now and just found this book by searching Amazon Kindle. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in the mythos. It also gave me good info on Ishtar, Queen of Heaven, Goddess of Love, Beauty, and War. She has been a topic of interest for 14 years now and I feel like I FINALLY got decent info on her due to this book. Very happy to have listened.
