Nice complete story arc
Revisado: 02-24-24
There is a lot to like in this decology of books. The characters hold true to their perceived goals, you get to peek behind the curtain to see how some of these perceptions might not be in the characters' best interests. Each book answers a key question that gives each book its own purpose, but feed into the overarching plotline nicely.
The only real criticism comes from being the son of an English teacher. The author needs to review the rules of grammar around the use of "I" and "me" when used in a collective list.
I have greatly enjoyed the books and will seek out more of Tess's writing.

This is a great addition on the Women's Paranormal Romance collection. I have rebooted them all so far and this one fits in nicely. I will be looking for the next in the series.

Fun story with enjoyable characters
Revisado: 04-19-23
A nice combination of world building, swash buckling, and thievery. I enjoyed the character development and found the story telling pleasant to follow. If you are into gritty stories where most of the good guys die, this may not be the story for you. For me, it was a highly enjoyable set of yarns only slightly marred by the narrator's multiple pronunciations that did not match my expectation.

Gripping

A fantastic debut novel. The story is darker and more dystopian thank I normally like, but the characters and flow of the story swept me along.

Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Lucidly and beautifully written, Peace Is Every Step contains commentaries, meditations, personal anecdotes, and stories from Nhat Hanh's experiences as a peace activist, teacher, and community leader. It begins where the listener already is - in the kitchen, office, driving a car, walking - and shows how deep meditative presence is available now.

A clearly articulated message of the oneness that makes interest in one another and the world vested interest in ourselves. This writing, these words, these thoughts, are critical to humankind's development and survival.

Though she can't share the information with conventional law enforcement, Moss discovers that the missing SEAL was an astronaut aboard the spaceship USS Libra - a ship assumed lost to the currents of Deep Time. Well crafted
Revisado: 07-09-21
This book is not my style, but I cannot deny it's craftsmanship. More violence than I like. More desperate than I like. But, very well put together and incorporating many hard science theories that are hard to stitch into an operational fabric. So, even though this book has many aspects that I would normally avoid, I am glad I listened to it.
