I had to see if the performance was human or not. Any vocal tone changes (few) almost seemed in the wrong places. It was distracting. Also some of the technical words were mispronounced.
As far as the subject, it was interesting and fairly well researched. Some of the points made clearly missed qualifications that would make them accurate. It’s clear the author had an agenda in writing the book. That’s not uncommon but frustrating for the consumer who knows a few things about the subject.

Just a silly love story. Yes, we all know Marie Curie was a groundbreaking physicist/chemist AND a woman . Sadly, this talks more about meeting her husband then how she earned a Nobel Prize. Very little about her work in the lab except for the sexism she encountered. I'm not even sure if the details about the time and what was included about her work and family was true since it sounded more fictitious than factual.

I watched these on PBS years ago. Love them then and really enjoyed listening again. Great discussion about several stories in the Book of Genesis by scholars and theologians. I recommend to anyone who is Jewish, Christian, or Muslim.

This book was not as in-depth as I would have liked about the theology and practice of Islam. Much time was spent on the political evolution and current situation. I know, hard to separate the two but I would have like to hear more about customs and practices. I think it was too short. 6 hrs is not enough to cover the topic. Also, did not sound like a lecture as much as it sounded like someone reading from a book.
