First is amazing, second is bad
Revisado: 04-10-25
First story is fabulous and classic Agatha Christie. 5 stars!! The second one is the worst of her stories, it is mostly a soap opera and Poirot isn’t really even in it until Chapter 18 and even then quite sporadically. First narrator is fantastic but the second is plain bad.

I have taken other courses from him and read his book. He makes very complex philosophical topics easy to understand and accessible. Highly recommend!!!

Performance mostly good but sometimes hard to understand when special effects employed. Story is ridiculous, absurd, silly, nonsensical.

Historia
Ashley Perrin is fresh out of college and starting a job as a community liaison for the Third District–the city’s only sector with more alien residents than humans. Ashley’s barely found where the paper clips are kept when she’s beset with constituent complaints–from too much noise at the Annual Lupidian Celebration Parade to a trip-and-fall chicken to a very particular type of alien hornet that threatens the very city itself. And if that’s not terrifying enough, Ashley is next up at the office karaoke night.

Solid story but awesome voice actor
Revisado: 10-12-24
The story itself is fairly simple and tied up nicely, but it is a short story so you can expect a ton more. However whoever was the voice actor was amazing! It really made the story so much better.

Good story, horrible audio narrator
Revisado: 10-11-24
Good story (not exactly great). Not horribly original (you will probably know what is going to happen before it happens). Aubrey Parsons voice is grating and the volume rises and falls in ridiculous waves.

Historia
On December 21, 2012, according to the Mayan Calendar, the world was supposed to end. It didn't. But on that day, 113 mysterious manuscripts were discovered around the world, each one written in blood by an unknown author. After several dozen unexplained deaths befell the finders of said manuscripts, a decision was made to lock them up for good in a secret vault beneath the Vatican. It is said that anyone who reads the stories will die, and as such they are now referred to as "The Cursed Manuscripts."

Cardboard characters, simple story, lots of talk about breasts, no development of story or characters. Not a horror story, just some gore.

Disappointed
Revisado: 09-25-24
Completely different style and story from the first two books. Tons of family drama and abuse. Plot meanders in all sorts of absurd directions. So mad at the author for ruining the series.

Don’t sleep with a suspect
Revisado: 09-09-24
I really liked Jake and tell he slept with his old girlfriend who was not only a witness, but a potential suspect. He should’ve been arrested for that himself. Plus the detective team in the story seems more like Pink Panther in terms of bumbling around always arresting the wrong people multiple times before they get to the real culprit.
