A book about a donkey?!

As a young girl I begged for a horse. When a horse trailer backed into our driveway and out backs a Jenny and her little Jack, I was mortified! That mama donkey turned out to be the best part of my youth. I wish I had more knowledge about this breed back then which you do gain in this book. I will be listening to it again for sure. It is packed with so many amazing stories! It is not just about a donkey. He is the central character but the rabbit trails are numerous and fascinating.

A well written and well told story about a favorite saint. Christine did a great job in the narration. This should not be perceived as only a children’s book. It has a very timely message for all adults as well as an exciting tale for young people.
