Sexy and Hilarious!
Revisado: 04-11-16
Omg! Make sure you grab some tissues before reading or listening to this one. Not from sorrow though, but from laughing. The author has given us a light fun read/listen. I wasn't quite prepared for the story to be as fun as it is. I was delighted at how this author managed to create a story that is simultaneously scorching hot-hot sexy, and tears running down your face funny. The first thing in the book that made me gasp out loud was, "That's because I don't have a scar" I totally had a freak out moment. I listened to the audio version given to me complimentary for an honest review and I have to say that the narrator Meghan Kelly (who I've listened to before) brings a great deal to the table with this one, you can hear every nuance of the story with her talented inflections, be it total incredulity, anger, humor, or sex. Kudos to her for being able to speak it all out loud. I look forward to hearing more from her as well as reading or listening to more from this talented author.

Rhage and Mary are Back!
Revisado: 04-11-16
What can I say? I have loved this series from page 1 of book one and can never wait for the next installment. This volume really brings out the emotions. I was so choked up at times, and shed tears at others both with happiness, tenderness, fear, and sadness. I always love Rhage, even his Beast. As with each other installments the author takes you on a hell of a ride, never a dull moment, unexpected twists and turns. It's impossible to stop once you get started. In addition to Rhage and Mary there are the usual band of brothers and all of their people, Layla plays a big part and V gets some shocking news. I can't wait for the next book. I have a feeling that V and Manny will have big parts, but who can say. I just can't wait for its arrival! I listened to the Audiobook version of this and as always narrator Jim Frangione was wonderful. He lends so much character and realness to each amazing book. 5 stars for both author, and narrator. Until next time!

Much Love for Missy!
Revisado: 03-25-16
I was very pleased when I got the chance to review the first book in this series, Missy the Werecat. It was a really pleasant surprise and very different than any other paranormal shifter tales I had come across. So I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review this installment as well. Missy is back and carrying on her dream of going to West Point Academy and is just as smart and sassy, and fun and funny as in the previous book. I once again found myself fully engaged in Missy's story and spent the entire night listening. Kudos to both the author and the narrator who both once again made this a terrific experience. I was gives a complimentary copy of this audiobook for an honest review and can't wait to see what Missy gets up to next.

Loved it!
Revisado: 03-23-16
I absolutely loved this book. I am now an instant fan of this author. I "read" this book via audiobook and could not stop once I got into the story, by the time the tale was told the sun was coming up. The plot is so intriguing and really keeps you guessing with unexpected twists while giving you real insight into the characters. I was totally happy with the ending, especially the WOAH portion of the ending. Once you get to that Ah-ha moment you can recall the breadcrumbs that the author has artfully laid for us to follow as the story progressed. The narrator did a wonderful job and I look forward to more from both this extremely talented author as well as this narrator that brings even more life to a spectacular story.

Great Beginning to a New Series
Revisado: 03-22-16
Let me start off by saying that I "read" this book in audiobook format. This is my first chance at experiencing this author and I am so excited to have discovered her. I totally can't wait to get to the next book in this series, as I can't wait to dig in to her all of her back list. I'm already set up to listen to her audiobook Ren through a happy coincidence. This book took me in a great adventure I absolutely fell in love with the characters especially Em who is such a strong character despite having lived a totally sheltered life. I also love Rogue. The book got me thinking about dream travel, among the other "gifts" that these characters have, makes a girl want a taste for sure. The book just flew by and I was shocked when I reached the end. I just blew straight through it. The narrator did a wonderful job bring even more life to an already wonderful story. I am adding her to my narrators to watch list. I was given a complimentary copy of this audiobook for an honest review.

Amazing!
Revisado: 02-14-16
J. R. Ward continues to enchant and enthrall me with every new addition. This one was definitely worth waiting for. I laughed and cried and had my breath taken totally away. The narrator Jim F. Is so talented, it's hard to remember that the entire thing is being said by only one person. He really brings out the life that the author already have has poured into the pages. These two are a total dynamite paired author and narrator.

Great, Unique Mingling of both the Paranormal and Dystopian Genres
Revisado: 01-24-16
First let me start off by saying that this author is new to me, but being a fan of both paranormal and dystopian fiction, I couldn't resist the lure of the blurb. I am so thankful that the author chose me to review an audio copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I got caught up in the story right away and was shocked when it finished that I hadn't noticed the time going by. I was just so engrossed in the story and I absolutely love the snarky, strong, smart, witty, and totally mouthy, fearless gladiator heroine Mira. Though at times I wanted to snatch her words from the air because of the trouble she could get into. Until coming upon this book I hadn't really thought to a dystopian future where the underdogs would be the very brings that normally tide the top of the food chain. Vampires. Enslaved, forced to fight one another for the enjoyment of their human captors and masters. Tortured and treated with the utmost inhuman of practices. When Mira and Lucian, the human Regent of her area, meet, both of their lives take a turn. I won't say how or let slip any spoilers. Suffice it to say that I definitely recommend this book. The narrator Meghan Kelly, who I've listened to in other books does an outstanding job of bringing even more life to an extremely well written story.

She finds herself stranded on Earth as a ghost, where the food has no taste, the alcohol doesn't get you drunk, and the sex...well, let's just say "don't bother". To make matters worse, the only person who can see her - courtesy of a book he found in his school library - is a 14-year-old boy genius obsessed with the afterlife.

Totally Amazing!
Revisado: 01-21-16
I absolutely loved this book (audiobook) The author had me from the very first words. I was completely enthralled with Irene's story which has layer upon layer of drama, intrigue, real emotion. I felt so much as I went along on her journey. I laughed, I stopped several times to ponder different aspects of Irene's discoveries about life, and beyond. I absolutely adore Jonah he is a breath of fresh air and made an impressive, lovable "Jiminy Cricket" I couldn't help but laugh so many times both at the expense of as well as along with the characters. I also found my heart pounding, holding my breath during some pretty traumatic scenes for Irene, as well as the times that I actually cried both with sadness and at other times because I was so deeply touched, especially by Jonah. Wise far beyond his years. The author just has done such an amazing job. I can't even fathom where she came up with this story, but can definitely appreciate the talent she had shared with us all. Finally I have to give it up for the narrator. She is so expressive and really made Irene, Jonah, and all of the other characters come alive. I was very generously given a complimentary copy of this audiobook for an honest review. I can't wait to finish writing this review so I can seek out the second in the series, Thereafter. I can't recommend this book highly enough. It's an awesome adventure.
