Revisado: 11-02-22
Fr. Mike helps a Bible reader understand the history and the people of the Bible. But most of all he does it in the context of God's unfathomable love for "broken" humans and His never ending mercy. These are not fairy tales or myths. Fr. Mike tells us about real people facing real problems and how God helps them overcome those problems, especially sin

Characters Seem like they live right next door
Revisado: 03-26-22
Yes, we have all been thrown into lives that are too too busy. Like the characters our relationships and our thinking suffer from business. So glad Alice “hit her head and forgo.” and then remembered what’s most important - family! Lots to think about here. Great book!

Do educated mature adults really talk to each other like this? I’m glad I live in the boring multi- season Midwest.
Reflections on parenting were funny at times but always had that ring of cynicism. At least the author tried to redeem her characters st the end.
