Historia
Michael Corleone is returning to the U.S. after the two-year exile to Sicily in which listeners left him in The Godfather. But he is ordered to bring with him the young Sicilian bandit, Salvatore Guiliano, who is the unofficial ruler of northwestern Sicily. In his fight "to make Sicilians free people", the young folk hero, based on the real-life Giuliano of the 1940s, has made both the police and the Mafia his enemies.

decent Goddather expansion pack with poor audio.
Revisado: 03-24-25
This is a decent "sequel" to the God father that I really enjoyed.
The narrator is ok but the voice acting is multiple people and it sounds awful. Like an early 1990s point and click game voice acting.

Historia
The war on the Eastern Front from 1941 to 1945 was the bloodiest combat theater in the bloodiest war in history. Oberleutnant Friedrich Wilhelm Sander experienced this bloodshed firsthand when serving with the 11th Panzer-Regiment. This regiment made up the core of the 6th Panzer-Division, one of Hitler's top armored formations, which was involved in most of the major campaigns on the Eastern Front; campaigns such as Operation Barbarossa and Operation Winter Storm.

It's a little boring at first, but once he gets rolling it becomes a truly insightful and remarkable diary worth the attention of any student of history no matter what level.

Historia
A highly infectious, deadly virus from the central African rain forest suddenly appears in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. There is no cure. In a few days, 90 percent of its victims are dead. A secret military SWAT team of soldiers and scientists is mobilized to stop the outbreak of this exotic "hot" virus. The Hot Zone tells this dramatic story, giving a hair-raising account of the appearance of rare and lethal viruses and their "crashes" into the human race. Shocking, frightening, and impossible to ignore, The Hot Zone proves that truth really is scarier than fiction.

Great book and audio book simultaneously. I learned so much from this book and it was crazy entertaining and horrific. Narrator does an amazing job as well. They don't over do it but also add to it some how.

Historia
Richard doesn’t have a past. For him, there is only the present: a new marriage to Tamara, a first chance at fatherhood to her son, Elijah, and a quiet but pleasant life as an art teacher at Elijah’s elementary school in Danvers, Virginia. Then the body of a rabbit, ritualistically murdered, appears on the school grounds with a birthday card for Richard tucked beneath it. Richard doesn’t have a birthday - but Sean does.... Sean is a five-year-old boy who has just moved to Greenfield, Virginia, with his mother.

Tedious
Revisado: 12-27-24
This book could have been edited down to 1/3 of the length. It was super tedious hammering redundant points over and over again in the present day and during flashbacks.
It started out great but the main character sucks so bad in his actions and reasoning that you can't feel bad for him.
Also, the anger of the antagonists are so misplaced that I wonder if there is something wrong with MY reasoning.

Great book, below average sound.
Revisado: 08-12-24
Great story with a great narrator. The only issue is the sound quality wasn't the best. It wasn't poor but it was slightly below average. At least for a few hours anyway. I'm not sure if the quality got better after that or if it was just my hearing that got accustomed to it.

Great book abrupt ending
Revisado: 05-13-23
The book was great the ending was horribly abrupt.
I would give it a 2.5 out if 3 instead of a 4 that I wanted to.
If I could go back in time I wouldn’t read it unless there was a sequel already published.

I absolutely loved this series. I listened to it as one large book. I don’t want to give anything 5 starts unless it’s perfect.
I give this one an 8.5 out of 10. I can’t stop thinking about it.

I enjoyed this for the most part, but you have to not know jack sh*t about police procedure/true crime to not be bothered about the gaping logic holes. It’s really dumb. That’s good, because it’s easy, but bad if you can’t turn your mind off
