Just couldn’t

The narrator can make or break a story. This narrator made it impossible to get past the introduction. I gave it some time thinking maybe I was just irritable that day, second try ended with the same result. This is so disappointing.

The story was interesting, however the mundane and emotionless narrative made it difficult to push through to the end.
