Historia
The funny thing is Logan isn't even trying to conquer the witching world one coven at a time. It just kind of works out that way because everyone and their mother wants to take out the Coven King. Now it isn't even just the witches that want him gone. A holy order of witch hunting knights has become aware of him, and Logan is on the defensive once more. Logan isn't about to give up on his dream for a peaceful family life, so that means just one thing: He'll fight for his peace if he has to. He's come this far, hasn't he?

filler
Revisado: 01-19-25
It would be generous to say there's 1 hour of story progression in this book. 90 percent is s*x with different witches. The VA do a great job with the book and it is still a decent book if you just want to get to the next and like Virgils books, but don't expect more than s*x and the lead up to the actual plot progression in the next book.
My only big con is gr*pe and CP. Definitely not a fan and both are dropped into the story randomly and feels excessively dark for a slice of life story.

Historia
Dominic's world had been a fairly simple life. To live his life to the best of his abilities, gain experience, level up, and strive to enjoy himself as best he could in a backwater. Which, while tough on its own, was made infinitely harder by his father being the local executioner. All of that becomes infinitely worse when his entire family is murdered. Dominic is then thrust into a war between noble houses that had been put on hold for generations. A war that the royal family lost, and now only had one true heir and claimant: Dominic Randolph.

decent
Revisado: 05-18-24
This story follows the same trend as the more recent Arand books. It is as if multiple people are writing it and disagree with eachother on everything. Characters and plot points can be introduced and dropped like it's written linear and the next writer just says nope don't like that, how about this now. It is also hard to believe Arand is actually writing these stories now because they don't follow any of his trends/style for MANY of his older books. With all that said I still gave 4 stars because it is entertaining, and ultimately this is entertainment

Historia
In a world full of superpowers, Felix had a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns and to upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper; almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. At least, that was until Felix leveraged a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give himself a great deal of points. Investing in, owning, and using Super Heroes and Super Villains, Felix built up an empire: an organization by the name of Legion.

word salad
Revisado: 03-25-24
I would put money on this book not being written by William. The beginning of book 4 had his hand in it then out of nowhere it turns into something completely different and then we get to book 5 and it's a continuation of word salad. It is as if a small group of new writers got together to finish the book in one sitting, all disagreed with each other on who, what, when, and why things should happen. You can read the first 3 chapters of book 4, then the last chapter of book 5 and you would have missed literally nothing of value. I'm saying this as a HUGE fan of William/Randi, I have read/listened to every book of his multiple times. It's extremely disappointing but of course I'll be going to book 6 because I'm in so deep already, mine as well see the finish. To end not so bitter, I do still recommend every other series by both pen names book 1-3.
