Historia
When a dullahan from the fae realm shows up on Mike Radley's property, he doesn't know what to expect. He didn't expect to learn that his banshee friend Cecilia has become a prisoner of the faerie queen. He really didn't expect to learn that his home contains a portal to the Underworld itself. And he definitely didn't expect to do battle against the duplicitous shadow man who wants Mike's very soul. With new allies, villains, and monstergirls, things are about to become dead serious. Welcome to the Underworld, Mike Radley. Expect the Unexpected.

Book five when??
Revisado: 12-02-23
I came for the romance and stayed for the great storyline, there’s only so much I can say since the person looking at this is already invested in the previous 3 books. I’m glad to know that there are quite a few more to read and I can’t wait to be able to listen to all of them

Historia
Andrew hunts monsters as a member of the Non-Human Investigative Corps, and he's very good at his job. Unfortunately, the skills he honed to keep the peace aren't much use in the cutthroat world of city politics, and a recent civil ruling is forcing the integration of the once exclusively human NHIC!

Classic trope(s) but done well
Revisado: 03-16-23
The story is kinda generic to me, but it’s done very, very well. The author though must have some sort of fetish for palps because I cannot tell you how many times you will hear “palps” or “pedipalps”. Honestly I think it adds to the book as a kind of detached humor. The narration is absolutely amazing and I (after listening to a fair bit of other authors on other platforms) am intrigued as to why there aren’t as many narrators that use as much of a broad range in their narration.Tl:Dr 11/10 would read/listen again.
