The Remaining was the best series I ever listened to. (I have approximately 200 audio books.) I am very sad it ended, but I was very pleased with the matter in which it ended. Very love/hate.
The narrator Christian Rummel was fantastic. DJ Molles is an extremely gifted writer. He really summed everything up well in my opinion. I was inspired by the patriotism in the hearts of the main characters.
I liked the feeling I had at the end of the book. I was at peace with the story and felt that everything was at it should have been. I would have liked to see Sam and Lee become closer, especially at the end. I do, however think there has always been an understanding between the two characters. At first, I wished there would have been more at the end into the mind of Abby. But part of the beauty of the way the series ended was the ability to fill in the blanks yourself.

Anyone who has an audible membership should use a credit to listen to Shantaram. It's not in the same category as The Remaining series, but I guarantee you will not be able to turn it off******

Great second book for the series. Like this series. I do like the characters and the plot and story is well written. The story is easy to believe (well as believable as a zombie series can be).
My favorite series is The Remaining by DJ Molles

Pretty good! Yeah I liked it. Not as good as the remaining series, but definitely want to continue the series so far.
The only thing I didn't like was the narrator's voice for the character Justin. He makes Justin sound like Keanu Reeves if he was under the influence of drugs. LOL, it's pretty irritating. Other than that, I liked it.

I really enjoyed this book. Witty, believable, and fun fictional read. Makes you feel like you are in the story. Very descriptive and unique plot. I really loved it and Firefight.

I would not recommend this book for anyone. It felt like I was being read a manual. There was no character depth, and the narrator came off as bitter and sarcastic all the time. It gets old. This was a poorly written zombie knock off.
Don't waste your time.
I would recommend instead...

This is my absolute favorite series. D J Molles is a fantastic writer. Christian Rummel makes the characters come to life. I'm anticipating the sixth and final book in the series coming out later this month.

Great short story to put some parts better into perspective.
I would recommend to anyone who loves the remaining books!
I love Christian Rummell's voice and characterization.
DJ Molles is an phenomenal writer. I admit It I am a zombie fanatic. I probably have 30 zombie/apocalyptic audiobooks. The remaining series is BY FAR THE BEST SERIES I HAVE COME ACROSS ( not just apocalyptic novels, but any novels I've read/listened to. I love fiction/ fantasy.
