I'm over 6 hours into this book, and it is only about the female lead being obsessed with the knots three stranger Alpha's. yeah... I get if her wolf was obsessed, but her human side has no personality whatsoever. How are we 6 hours in with barely a hint of a true story line. Sucky waste of a credit. makes me regret trying a new author 😕

I listened to this book because one review said it was more realistic in pacing than the previous two, but nope... EVERYTHING was INSTA. And what's worse was the main female character. I couldn't stand her. The author tried to make her snarky and bad*ss, but she came across as a self-righteous, judgemental b*tch who refuse to recognize that her sh*t stinks just like everyone else. everytime she opened her mouth to make a judgemental or mean coment to another woman I wanted glue her mouth shut. Maybe had she made the club whores more vocaly mean or violent it would have made more sense, like she was just standing up for herself, but for every rude sound a club where made the female lead mad 5x the insults or put downs, and she was constantly being violent or threatening violence towards them and all they did was look at her men (whom she'd only know for one or two days before becoming violently possessive) or touch her arm. I couldn't see what anyone saw in her. sad... all that potential, wasted 🗑.

the book had the potential to be great. but the author rushed it. it was so insta-love. I already hate insta love, but let's be real,... *Spoiler alert*...

you leave because they treat you like sh*t, then, the one who treats you the worst kidnaps you after his prospect cold cocks you, strips you naked on order and dumps you in a cell, with a concussion, with no bed or blanket and freezing cold. And your response to him within hours of leaving that room is to feel like he's loyal to you, and was to sleep with him... makes the lead h more of a fake bada** than a legitimate one. she truly hand no real backbone and didn't know her worth. she just pretended to. Annoying... goodness thinking more about it makes me want to remove another star.

DO NOT PURCHASE! BOOK IS MISSING CHUNKS!!!

Be advised there are chunks of this book missing and in its place is RECORDED SILENCE. I contacted audible and had to jump through hoops just to get my credit back. Hopefully they will remove the book and fix the issue because I was really getting into it.

these guys whent beyond being romance novel bullies... *Spoiler* they cost her a scholarship and got her kicked out of school... end *spoiler*. and yet all they had to do was kiss her/sleep with her and say sorry and she gave in. I mean had they gotten her her scholarship back and owned up PUBLICLY to their behavior than I'd believe their apologies. and maybe at the very end of book three they did IDK. BUT when she just believed them BEFORE the actually ever fixed things I gave up on the book. I was just TO TIRED 😫 of watching her be lead around by her vagina. I was starting to feel like she deserved to be treated like crap because she was a perfect example of a person banging their head into a cement block the being upset that she had a headache. I started hoping she wouldn't get her scholarship back because I began to believe it was a waste of a scholarship. I mean she doesn't use her brain EVER. she just let's her vagina guid her and then gets upset about. she's all words and no follow-up. so I DNF'D the book when she just forgave them at the start of book 3 before they ever PROVED they were true, BEDORE they every repaired the REAL damage they caused. She proved herself TSTL, and I felt I'd be wasting brain cells if I kept reading since I already could predict the outcome of this generic book 📖.

Heroe's moth has cancer. I had to stop reading almost as soon as I started this book because it's stated pretty early on. My mother recently passed away after battling cancer twice (just like the Heroe's mother). I could not continue reading 📚 😢. so this may be a great book, but I'll never know. and I didn't want anyone else who was trying to stay away from this subject matter to have to deal with returning the book to get their credit back after only hearing about 30 minutes of the book 📖.

it's been a long time since a book made me cry...

... or since I became so lost in a story that's reality stopped and I couldn't sleep until I finish it. I went to work so tired and even purchased the kindle version so I could read on my phone during my done time at work (I'm a crisis counselor on a phone line so I couldn't have my ear buds in at work). Now I need to take a break and listen to something a bit less emotional 🙃
