Prince Harry narrating his own story made it more personalized. I am glad I went against the naysayers and listened for myself. His mother would be proud. I wish him the best. Spare allowed the reader to understand his life.

unrealistic and fantastical

I have never been so happy to finish a book. How many times did he repeat "My mountain"? In their love making scenes her repeating "Corey Please" was just annoying. The narrator did as best he could with the script. Being a lover of most Brenda Jackson books, this was a huge disappointment. This was a book I suggested to my weekly book club. A bad bad choice.

A force to listen to....

Struggled to finish. The performance of the piece was hard to stomach.The narrator was not good at expressing emotions for the male or female characters. At times the storyline felt forced. Naming a song or reading a Bible verse became over detailed and long winded. At times throughout it seemed way too wordy. Major incidents were completely unrealistic. It was hard to connect with any of the characters. Author and the book are a 2 out of 5 stars at best. One word to describe this piece is that it is Forgettable.

just an okay read.

the characters were written to be intelligent but made almost idiotic decisions on so many levels. Also, the author did not develop the characters as well. More research should have been done on post partum depression in order for the reader to identify with the character dealing with those symptoms. you were constantly waiting for more realistic responses to the problems that arose. I finished up the book not being able to identify with or care about any of the characters. this was a fairytale ending to realistic situations. In reality not everything ends the way we want. the book is not boring, you just don't care about any of its characters.

an extended story line

this could have been told in a shorter time span. the ending was very rushed. other than that it was the typical quest to love story.

Would you try another book from Delaney Diamond and/or Michael Pauley?

I will give Delaney Diamond another try because I think it could have been a good book. It was drawn out. The narrator was the wrong choice for her book.

What could Delaney Diamond have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

It seemed the story was drawn out. The characters never connect with the audience. You never care what happens to the characters and certainly uninterested in their actions and responses.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Michael Pauley?

Cary Hite or Alan Ryder
